UAB Generga is implementing an investment project aimed at developing high value-added manufacturing and strengthening advanced technology capabilities in the Kaunas region.

As part of the project, the company is investing in two strategic areas of activity. The first area focuses on the development and manufacturing of power generators powered by alternative energy sources. These products will contribute to the deployment of more sustainable energy solutions, the wider use of renewable energy resources, and the strengthening of energy independence. The second area focuses on the production of precision optical components intended for high value-added technological products used in industry and other advanced technology sectors.

The project includes investments in modern manufacturing, measurement and testing equipment, the establishment of new technological workplaces, employee training activities, and the development of the company’s competencies. These investments will enable the implementation of advanced manufacturing processes, ensure high product quality, and expand export opportunities in international markets.

The project will contribute to the European Union’s objective of strengthening critical technology value chains, reducing dependence on third-country supplies, and enhancing the competitiveness of European industry.

The project started on 5 June 2026 and will be implemented until 31 May 2029.
